*We do not clean fish. We do have an indoor fish cleaning facility at Sand Bay Beach Resort (home office location-Sturgeon Bay) for fishing guests who are staying there.
New Ice Season 2024
2024 will turn over a new chapter for Wacky Walleye Guide Service Ice Fishing offerings.
Head Guide, Dale Stroschein, after almost 4 decades as an ice guide, will be scaling back and we will no longer be operating our large scale ice fishing guide service.
However, he will be going back to his roots for those hardcore anglers still looking for an opportunity to fish on the ice with him. We will be offering private ice fishing trips – maximum of 3 people – that Dale will personally guide. These trips will be offered MONDAYS-THURSDAYS only and will be full day excursions which Dale has described as “run and gun”. Rates will include your transport, equipment and Dale will be your personal ice guide.
For those still seeking ice trips similar to what we’ve run in the past, we will be working with another local guide service led up by Travis Stangel and Marc Jackson (previous Wacky Walleye Ice Guides) and we can still coordinate your bookings and/or pair them with lodging as in years past – call Karyn at our office 920-743-5731 to book your ice outing for 2024.

Terms of service
- $100 Non-Refundable deposit due upon booking Open Water Trips.
- $50 (per person or per shanty) Non-Refundable deposit due upon booking Ice Fishing Trips OR Shanty Rentals.
- Parties that do not show up for their Scheduled Trip(s) will be charged in full.
